How to add D A Stephenson Pty Ltd, as your BAS agent
If you already have ATO Online Services for Business access skip to Step 3.
1. Setup myID (previously myGovID)
If you've previously applied for a Director ID, you should already have the myID app set up on your phone. If not, please follow these instructions:
You will need "Strong" identity strength to link your myID. If you have "Standard" identity strength you will need to phone the ATO and get a linking code.
2. Link myID to your ABN
Login to the Relationship Authorisation Manager to link YOUR company to your myID.
Link Online
Select Link your business and follow the prompts to verify your identity and company information.
If your myID identity strength is "Standard", you can't link your ABN online using the "Link your business" option.
Link via authorisation code
To get an authorisation code to link, you need to do the following:
phone 1300 287 539 and select option 3 during ATO operating hours to complete a proof of identity check*
once confirmed, you’ll receive an email with an authorisation code
log in to RAM to accept the request and complete the link.
*Proof of identity items will include
Your full legal name
DOB
Address
Personal TFN
ABN
3. Login to ATO Online Services for Business
Use your myID to log in to ATO Online Services for business.
Select YOUR company and click next.
4. Nominate D A Stephenson Pty Ltd
Under Profile, select Agent details:
You will see any existing BAS and Tax agents authorised for your company. Under Agent nominations, select Add
Search for D A Stephenson Pty Ltd by entering our company name or Registered Agent Number: 26116979
Confirm the nomination and submit.
